Refund Policy

1. Overview

At Sweet by Simone, each cake is custom-made with premium ingredients and handcrafted artistry. Due to the personalized and perishable nature of our products, all sales are final and non-refundable under any circumstances.

2. Final Acceptance and Transfer of Responsibility

Once a customer or their designated representative accepts the cake at pickup or delivery, the order is considered complete and approved. At the moment of acceptance, responsibility for the product transfers to the customer, and Sweet by Simone assumes no liability for any damage, dissatisfaction, or changes to the cake that occur after it has left our possession.

3. Customer Inspection at Handoff

Customers are required to inspect their cake at the time of pickup or delivery. If there are any concerns regarding the design, structure, or quality, these must be communicated immediately during the handoff. Acceptance of the cake—verbally or by physically taking possession—indicates that it meets the customer’s expectations.

4. Replacement Requests (No Refunds)

Refunds will not be issued under any circumstances. However, if an issue is raised immediately at the time of pickup or delivery, a replacement may be considered on a case-by-case basis at the sole discretion of Sweet by Simone. Replacements are not guaranteed and may be subject to additional charges depending on the request and production requirements.

5. Damage After Pickup or Delivery

Sweet by Simone is not responsible for any damage or deterioration that occurs after the cake has been accepted at pickup or delivery. This includes but is not limited to:

  • Transportation-related damage

  • Exposure to heat, humidity, or improper storage

  • Mishandling by the customer, event venue, planner, or guests
    To protect product quality, customers are strongly encouraged to transport the cake on a flat surface in a cool, air-conditioned vehicle and to refrigerate or store it appropriately.

6. Allergies and Dietary Responsibility

Sweet by Simone products may contain or come into contact with common allergens such as dairy, eggs, wheat, gluten, soy, tree nuts, and peanuts. It is the responsibility of the customer to inform themselves, their guests, and any consumers of the product about potential allergens. No refunds, replacements, or liability will be offered in cases of allergic reactions or dietary sensitivities.

7. Satisfaction Commitment

While all sales are final, Sweet by Simone is committed to quality and customer satisfaction. If you have a concern after pickup or delivery, you are encouraged to contact us so we may review your feedback. Any resolution or accommodation, if provided, will be offered solely at our discretion for future consideration and does not include refunds.

8. Agreement to Policy

By placing an order and accepting possession of the cake at pickup or delivery, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to the terms of this Refund & Replacement Policy.
